During our Peak Season, Monday through Friday, we plan daily activities for children ages 3-14 (approximately). Older kids and adults are encouraged to participate as well.

Our  Summer, 2010 Activities Theme:  BugBee's Got Talent

We have many fun activities planned for you. Most of the activities we have planned are things the entire family can enjoy together.

We chose this yearʼs theme because we are launching a new activity: A Talent Show!  The show will take place Friday evening and we would like to invite you to sing, dance, perform skits, comedy, magic, etc... We've even had some jump roping, gymnastics and humming!  Remember that people of all ages will be in attendance, so keep it family-friendly. Due to time constraints, we will also need to keep it to one act per individual and one act per group (so a particular person will be able to be in up to two acts).  Please bring whatever props, music and costumes you might need. You may practice throughout the week, and will be able to sign up for “dress rehearsal” time for Thursday afternoon if you feel you will need one. We have a karaoke machine with a variety of songs, or if you have a specific song youʼd like to sing, feel free to bring a CD.

To continue with the “talent” theme, we are offering complimentary line dancing lessons and will be having karaoke by  the bonfire this year! Come and put together a line dancing act and practice singing for the
talent show, or just enjoy the events as they are.

We will also be having a Welcome Party on Sunday evening at 7:00, featuring complimentary make your-own-sundaes along with information, activity sign-ups, and fun things for the kids. All guests, rookies and veterans alike, are welcome and encouraged to attend.

In addition to these new events, we are increasing water aerobics to two days a week this summer, adding a session of yoga, and continuing with many of your other favorites, including the volleyball tournament, island adventure, tubing, horseback riding, games, and of course we'll be offering crafts for all ages (including adults). And yes!

The pasta buffet will be back by popular demand!

MONDAY 
8:30-9:30  - Water Aerobics, lodge pool
9:30-10:30 - Crafts all ages, lodge lower level -Please arrive before 10:00
10:30-11:00 - Games, all ages, lodge lower level
11:30-1:00 - Island Adventure, all ages, meet at beach  Be sure to wear comfortable shoes that can get wet
4:00-5:00 - Tubing, $10 per person, meet at beach* -sign up by Monday noon
7:00-8:00 - Line Dancing Lessons, lodge, lower level* -sign up by Monday noon

TUESDAY
9:30-10:30 - Crafts all ages, lodge lower level - -Please arrive before 10:00
10:30-11:00 - Games, all ages, lodge lower level
11:00 - Volleyball, Round 1* (IF necessary) -sign up by Monday noon
4:00 or 5:00 - Horseback Riding*  (We will assign you either the 4:00 or 5:00 slot.  (Other times can be arranged-sign up by Tuesday 9:00 am. If you need to cancel, PLEASE cancel by that morning as well. -Approx 5 min. away. Maps are available at the front desk.)

WEDNESDAY
8:30-9:30 - Water Aerobics, lodge pool

10:30-11:00 - Games, all ages, lodge lower level
11:00 - Volleyball, Round 3* (IF necessary)
1:00 Dress Rehearsal times for Talent Show* -sign up for your time by Thursday 9:00 am
8:00 - Bonfire Karaoke! (practice for the talent show!)

FRIDAY

11:00 - Volleyball Championship and Root Beer Floats -

$Activities are complimentary unless otherwise noted. Craft costs are determined by chosen craft. Prices and projects will be posted each day.
Family times are all ages. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult.
Activities are subject to change. Check the bulletin board in the lodge for updates, specifically in the case of rain.
