History
Since 1920, the Bug-Bee Hive Resort has been entertaining both young and old alike. In this time we've been building, remodeling, refurbishing and rebuilding our cottages in an effort to keep current with the changes and desires of the hospitality industry.
We take pride in what we've accomplished and have truly enjoyed meeting all of the wonderful people that have chosen to spend a relaxing, fun filled vacation with us.
The Bug-Bee Hive Resort located on Bee-Utiful Lake Koronis in central Minnesota's lake country is the areas premiere vacation destination and it's only 90 minutes West of the Twin Cities.
It is with great sadness that we announce Jack Bugbee died on Sunday morning, March 27. We’ll miss him dearly!

Jack Bugbee Receives Pioneer Award
The Pioneer Award was established in 1989 to honor individuals who have made a significant contribution to the resort industry in Minnesota. Jack Bugbee received his Pioneer Award on Monday, Oct. 18, 2004 at the annual conference for the Minnesota Resort and Campground Association. Read Full Article...
